"Love Never Fails"
Love is an issue that many have different views about which we will tackle in our Issues of Life portion. I pray that these verses will help you see what love really is and is not.
1 John 4: 7-8 "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love."
1 John 4: 18-19 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love
casts out fear, because fear involves torment.
But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
We love Him because He first loved us."
Matthew 5: 44-46 "But I say to you, love your enemies,
bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you,
and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you....
For if you love those who love you, what reward have you?
Do not even the tax collectors do the same?"
1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 "Love suffers long and is kind;
love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails."
