Spiritual Food: "The Lord is My Shepherd; I Shall Not Want"

"The Lord is My Shepherd; I Shall Not Want"

     Our faith in God is strengthened by hearing and hearing revelations that come from His word. The Bible contains God's Words which reveal to us His promises and His will for our life. During the dry season of our life which I described in my testimony in Issues of Life, my husband and I declared the following verses that strengthened our faith in the Lord Who, indeed, fulfilled His promises in our life.

Psalm 23: 1-3 (NKJV)  "The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want (or lack). He makes me to lie down
in green pastures; He leads me besides still waters.
He restores my soul; He leads me int the paths of righteousness for His name's sake."

Jeremiah 29:11  (NIV)  " 'For I know the plans
I have for you', declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you
and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' "

Hebrews 10: 23  (NKJV)  "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful."

Psalm 35:27 (NKJV)  "Let them shout for joy and be glad who favor my righteous cause. Let the Lord be magnified who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant."
