Joined to Become One Flesh
Losing one's virginity does not only refer to the breaking of that physical part of a woman's body and to the loss of that first discharge for a man, but it refers to the loss of oneself to unite with another. You do not actually lose something but you gain a partner for life, that is why virginity is something like a treasure you offer to that partner. Saving virginity for marriage is our topic in Issues of Life. The following verses are not actually about virginity but about the sanctity of sexual love in marriage that one loses it for.
Genesis 2: 24 "Therefore a man shall leave
his father and mother and be joined to his wife,
and they shall become one flesh."
Matthew 19:6 "So then, they are no longer two
but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate". (Jesus, Himself, said this)
Hebrews 13: 4 "Marriage is honorable among all,
and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and
adulterers God will judge".
Sexual Love is only within Marriage:
Proverbs 5:16-20 "Let your fountain be blessed,
and rejoice with the wife of your youth...
Let her breasts satisfy you at all times;
and always be enraptured with her love.
For why should you, my son, be enraptured by
an immoral woman, and be embraced
in the arms of a seductress.
1 Corinthians 7: 36 (Amplified) "But if any man
thinks that he is not acting properly
toward and in regard to his virgin [that he is
preparing disgrace for her or incurring reproach],
in case she is passing the bloom of her youth
and if there is need for it, let him do what to
him is need for it; he does not sin; let them marry."
