SPIRITUAL FOOD: "Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart"
The Bible says, "There are many plans in a man's heart, nevertheless, the Lord's counsel--that will stand" (Proverbs 19:21). It's okay to plan your day or plan for the future, but we need to align our plans with God's purposes for our life. He reveals these to us day by day as we continue to trust in His goodness. Although we need to trust the people around us, but first and foremost, we need to put our trust in God. David trusted in God and has written many verses expressing this, even Solomon and all the prophets.
Proverbs 3: 5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."
Psalm 91:1-2 "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.' "
Psalm 9: 9-10 "The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You."
Psalm 31: 19-20 "Oh, how great is Your goodness which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men! You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the plots of men. You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues."
